OfferCC App Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. Scope and data controller

This policy applies to the OfferCC mobile app and its companion pages opened on the offer.cc domain. Beijing Shenma Matrix Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the personal data processing described here.

2. Account and sign-in data

To create accounts, verify identity, and sync service status, we process:

  • Phone number, country or region code, verification result, and sign-in status.
  • When you sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub, the user identifier provided by that service and any name or email address you authorize it to share.
  • Your OfferCC user identifier, account status, minute balance, language, theme, and similar preferences.
  • Sign-in credentials, device authorization status, and security verification records needed to keep app and web sessions working.

3. Microphone and practice content

The app processes session audio only after you start training and grant microphone permission:

  • Microphone audio is converted through the current connection into practice-question text for question organization and answer examples.
  • OfferCC does not store, retain, or retransmit raw microphone audio after a connection loss, and does not reuse raw audio after the session ends.
  • When the app moves to the background, it stops audio capture and closes the current connection. It does not capture microphone audio in the background.
  • Question text, answer text, role information, and practice records may be saved to your account for review.

4. Resumes, photos, and files

Resume information is processed only after you choose or upload it:

  • You can take a photo, choose a JPEG or PNG from your library, or select a PDF from system files. Each file is limited to 4MB.
  • Camera, photo-library, and file access is used only for the selection and upload you initiate. The app does not browse content you did not select.
  • OfferCC processes the original photo or PDF only during that resume parsing request and does not retain the original file in its own storage. Temporary files created by format conversion are removed after processing.
  • Structured resume content that you confirm after parsing may be saved to your account, where you can edit or delete it.

5. Purchases, device data, and operational logs

To deliver minutes and protect the service, we process:

  • Product and transaction identifiers, purchase receipts, price and currency, purchase, refund, or revocation status, and identifiers used to link purchases to your OfferCC account.
  • Apple handles payments on iOS, and Google Play handles payments on Android. OfferCC does not receive your full card number or app store account password.
  • App version, device and operating-system type, request time, network and error events, security events, and similar operational logs.
  • The app has no advertising or cross-app tracking and does not enable push notifications or background audio capture. See Section 8 for data processing by third-party services.

6. Why we process data

We use the data above to:

  • Register and sign you in, verify account security, and sync service state across devices.
  • Provide mock interviews, practice-question organization, answer examples, resume parsing, and review features.
  • Verify app store purchases, credit minutes, recover unfinished transactions, and handle refunds or revocations.
  • Diagnose failures, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect accounts and the service.
  • Respond to support requests and meet applicable legal, financial, and compliance obligations.

7. Retention and security

We limit retention according to the purpose of each data category:

  • Account data, confirmed resumes, and practice content are generally kept while your account remains active. You can delete supported content earlier within the service.
  • OfferCC does not store raw microphone audio in its own storage and does not retain original resume files after parsing. Relevant processing services may retain necessary data under their data processing terms.
  • After account deletion, identifiable personal content is removed. Payment facts required by law and reward facts needed to prevent duplicate claims are retained only in de-identified fields.
  • Operational and security logs are kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and compliance, and are protected with measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and permission isolation.

8. Sharing, service providers, and international processing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service or meet legal duties:

  • Apple, Google, and GitHub provide their respective sign-in services. Purchases on iOS are handled through Apple, and purchases on Android through Google Play. The app store receives a purchase identifier that links the purchase to your OfferCC account and provides purchase, refund, or revocation status. The Android purchase component also sends Google diagnostic information, such as purchase and connection results, app and operating system versions, device model, and network type, to improve the performance and stability of the purchase service.
  • Cloud hosting, database, speech and text processing, customer support, and security providers process necessary data for limited purposes.
  • We may disclose necessary information when lawfully required by legislation, courts, or public authorities.
  • If a provider processes data in another country or region, we apply contractual and security safeguards required by applicable law and provide additional notice or seek consent when legally required.
  • The DCloud App engine (uni-app x) is provided by Digital Paradise (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd. and supports app operation and troubleshooting. In the current Android version, DCloud's anonymous identifiers and failure records are stored locally on the device. See the DCloud App Engine Privacy Policy.

9. Your rights and account deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete personal data in your account.
  • Withdraw camera, photo-library, or microphone permission in system settings. Related features will stop working after permission is withdrawn.
  • Ask questions, make a complaint, or submit another data-rights request.
  • Use My → Settings → Delete account to close active training, revoke mobile and web sessions, and remove personal resume and practice content. De-identified payment facts are retained where required for legal and financial obligations.

You can also use the account deletion page to submit a request.

10. Children, policy updates, and contact

OfferCC is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as features or legal requirements change and will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

For questions about this policy or our processing of personal data, use App Support to contact us.
